Khartoum & Juba Decide to Restart Pumping Southern Crude Oil

Khartoum and Juba have agreed to resume pumping southern Sudan crude from fields through Sudan's pipeline up to Port Sudan harbor for export, reported local media on Thursday. The pumping said would resume in two weeks time.
Undersecretary of petroleum Awad Abdel Fatah and his southern Sudan counterpart Elizabeth Charles had agreed in a meeting held in Juba Wednesday that the specialized committees between the two countries have to meet after ten days to set final arrangements to restart southern Sudan crude oil export. Meanwhile according to media reports that oil companies were informed officially on the date set for pumping operations.
