Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has affirmed the government commitment to secure the Chinese investments in the country and lauded the distinguished relations between Sudan and China.

 

This came when Taha met at his office at the Council of Ministers' Secretariat General Sunday the visiting Chinese trade unionist delegation, led by the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Chinese Workers Union, in the presence of the Chairman of the International People's Friendship Council, Ahmed Abdul-Rahman and the Chairman of the Arab - Chinese Council.

 

The Chairman of the Sudanese Workers Trade Unions Federation (SWTUF), Prof. Ibrahim Gandour, said in a press statement that the Vice - President was informed during the meeting on progress of the Chinese - Sudanese trade unionist relations and the cooperation between the two countries in the field of building capacity ;He said that the Chinese delegation has affirmed that it will work for encouraging the Chinese investors to work in Sudan at all fields.
